"Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" is an anime series released in 2016. The show takes place in a world overrun by zombie-like creatures known as Kabane. However, due to a tragic incident in his past, Ikoma himself is infected by the Kabane virus, becoming a Kabaneri - a human-Kabane hybrid with immense strength and agility. As Ikoma and his allies travel across the land, they encounter various factions vying for power and resources, and must fight to survive in this dangerous world.
